    Complaint regarding sudden change of address by Rakesh Sharma:

    I had opened a S B Account at SBI, Dhanbad Branch and at that time I had clearly written in the application form my permanent address i.e. Rakesh Sharma, Manoram nagar, Luby Circular Road, Dhanbad - 826001.

    But Now, I suddenly notice that my address in the bank records has changed to "NEE SECTION, PERSONNEL DIRECTORATE, KOYLA BHAWAN, KOYLA NAGAR, BCCL, DHANBAD."

    It may please be noted that few years back I had opened a joint account with my wife at the Saraidhella Branch of SBI (which had been closed now) and at that time I was posted at BCCL, Dhanbad and the "NEE SECTION" address was written at that time in the form along-with my home address of "MANORAM NAGAR"(Stated Above).

    But I have never ever written or requested for an address change in my Dhanbad Branch Account (which happens to be my Salary account)but somehow in the records at Dhanbad Branch my address has been changed to "NEE SECTION, PERSONNEL DIRECTORATE, KOYLA BHAWAN, KOYLA NAGAR, DHANBAD".

    I have been transferred long back from Koyla Bhawan, BCCL Office. Now, the problem I am facing is that whenever a Cheque Book or any other document is sent to me by the Bank, it reaches at my Old Office Address (NEE SECTION, KOYLA BHAWAN)and not at my Permanent Address (the address which I had stated in the dhanbad Branch while opening the account). Recently I got a message that a new debit card ending with 1566 was despatched on 15.11.2018 thru Speed post No. EX971377761IN but till date I have not got the same and on enquiry it was found that the card had reached at koyla Bhawan and not at my residential address and hence it was not accepted and was returned back.

    All this is happening without any fault of mine and I am really not able to understand how the address has changed in the records of Dhanbad Branch.

    This may kindly be checked and necessary rectifications may be done in order to avoid problems in the future.
